While we understand the alerts present in the Dexcom app may be helpful to some, we also understand that it may be a feature that others would like to turn off. Turning off the alerts in the Dexcom app is easy:

1. Open the Dexcom App
2. Tap Profile in the bottom right corner
3. Tap Alerts
4. Tap "Show Quiet Modes"
   • Vibrate: This will set all alerts to vibrate mode. For safety, urgently low and sensor fail alerts will vibrate first, and will then make a sound if the vibration alert isn't acknowledged.
   • Silence All: This will set all alerts, included urgently low and sensor fail alerts, to silent. Important note: the silence all alerts can only be set up in 6 hour intervals.
5. Additionally, you have the option of turning off each alert individually.
