- We accept Aetna, Cigna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Highmark, Empire, Horizon, Sana Benefits, and United Healthcare.
How much will I have to pay out of pocket?
- 95% of our members pay $0 out of pocket. We will run a benefits check and file the claims on your behalf. If there is any patient responsibility, we will inform you before your appointment date and proceed only with your consent for the payment.
How do I schedule a call with a nutritionist?
- If your insurance is accepted, you can provide your insurance information and schedule a call through our website. We will then run a benefits check and confirm your appointment.
What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?
- You can reschedule or cancel your appointment up to 24 hours before the call without any charge. Any changes made within 24 hours of the call will result in a $75 Rescheduling fee.
What happens if I don't show up for a scheduled call?
- If you do not show up for a scheduled call without rescheduling or cancelling at least 24 hours in advance, you will incur a $75 fee.
How many calls are covered by my insurance?
- In most situations, accepted insurances cover at least 3 calls with our nutritionists.
How long are the calls with the nutritionists?
- The suggested call duration is 60 minutes. All initial calls are 60 minutes to thoroughly understand your health goals.
What if my insurance doesn't cover the calls?
- If your insurance does not cover the calls or if there is any patient responsibility, we will reach out to you before your appointment date to discuss the payment. We will only proceed with your consent.

- You will be matched with an expert nutritionist based on your wellness goals to ensure you receive personalized advice and support.
During Your Call
What can I expect during my calls?
- During your calls, you will talk to your nutritionist about your health goals, dietary habits, and lifestyle. Your nutritionist will provide personalized advice and create a follow-up plan tailored to your needs.
How can I schedule follow-up calls?
- Your nutritionist will suggest a follow-up call cadence during your initial call. They can book these at a time suitable for you, or you can schedule them through the Nutrisense app.
Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs)
Can I order Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) through the app?
- Yes, you can order CGMs through the app. However, these will be shipped only if you are approved for their use based on a health questionnaire you need to fill out to complete the order.
How many CGMs can I order each month?
- You can order up to 2 CGMs every month.
What should I do if I have issues with my CGM?
- If you encounter any issues with your CGM, please contact our support team through the app for assistance.

- Yes, users have access to purchase other nutritionist add-ons to enhance their health journey.
