Everything you need to know about booking a video call with your nutritionist.
You can easily schedule a video call with your nutritionist directly from the Nutrisense app. To do this, simply go to the "Nutritionist" tab and click on "Schedule". The app will then display all available options, allowing you to book the appointment for a date that suits you best.
Suggested Calls + Booking Future Calls
After scheduling a video call, you can find the date and time details in the "Upcoming Calls" section of the "Nutritionist" tab.
To view all your past and upcoming calls, simply click on the "See All" menu. If you need to check the status of a call or reschedule or cancel it, just click on the specific call you want to update or review.
In the "Nutritionist" tab, you'll also find the "Suggested call" feature, which suggests booking an appointment for 1 week after your last scheduled video call, or at the next best available time after 1 week. You can book this suggested appointment immediately and also have the option to edit the suggested time by clicking on the calendar button.
Recurring Calls
To make the booking process more convenient, you can schedule a recurring call. To do this, go to the “Nutritionist” tab and click on “Schedule a Recurring Call” at the bottom of the page in the “See all” menu.
Once selected, you can choose the call cadence (weekly, biweekly, or monthly), desired dates and timeslots, and the number of recurring calls (up to 12). After selecting your preferences, click “Create Recurrence”.
To edit or remove the recurrence, go back to the “See all” menu and click “Edit Recurrence”. You can then select new preferences, confirm, or cancel the entire call series.
FAQ
Do I need to buy a CGM to work with a nutritionist?
No, you don't have to! You’re always welcome to join our Standalone Video Call Program or the Nutrisense Membership without a CGM. These programs provide full access to our Nutrition Support, so you can still benefit from personalized guidance, whether or not you choose to use a CGM.
Can I edit a single appointment in a recurring series?
Yes, absolutely. If you need to make changes, just click on the appointment in the “Upcoming Calls” menu. From there, you can reschedule or cancel that specific appointment. We're here to make sure the timing works for you.
What if my nutritionist isn’t available at the date or time I selected?
We know how important it is to connect at a time that fits your schedule. Recurring appointments are booked based on your preferences, but if your exact time isn’t available one week, we’ll find the next best option. You’ll see the update in the app, and you’re always free to adjust or cancel it if needed.
I don’t have insurance coverage; can I still book future calls in the app?
Yes, you can! If your calls aren’t covered by insurance, the app’s “Suggested Calls” feature will guide you through booking and prompt payment at checkout. Please note that recurring calls are currently only available if you're eligible through insurance, but we're still here to support you with one-time bookings.
How far in advance can I book appointments using the recurring feature?
We want to help you stay consistent with your health journey! You can book up to 12 calls in advance. This can be 12 monthly calls (1 year), 12 biweekly calls (6 months), or 12 weekly calls (3 months), depending on your needs.
How do I cancel an appointment?
If you need to cancel an appointment, just click on the specific appointment in the “Upcoming Calls” menu and select “cancel”. For more details, please refer to our Video Call Cancellation article for detailed instructions.
