Although it may seem scary at first, most people feel no pain when applying a sensor!
In general, the application hurts less than a finger prick! The applicator that comes with the device is spring-loaded and applies the sensor quickly and painlessly. The sensor has a tiny wire filament (<0.4 mm) that is inserted just below the skin but does not go past the fat layer. After a day of wearing the device, most people forget that it is even there. If you do feel any pain, please contact our support team for assistance through the in-app chat.
In rare circumstances, mild bruising, bleeding, or pain can occur. This is not common, but it can happen from time to time. This should not impact your readings.
If you experience bleeding, we suggest placing clean gauze over the area until the bleeding stops. Once the bleeding stops, you can reach out to the customer support team to ensure your sensor is functioning properly.
