At Nutrisense, we understand that the idea of applying and wearing a sensor may be daunting at first. But fear not! Most people experience little to no pain during the application or while wearing the sensor.
In fact, the application process is often less painful than a simple finger prick. Our device comes with a spring-loaded applicator that efficiently and painlessly applies the sensor. The sensor itself has a small wire filament, less than 0.4mm thick, that is inserted just below the skin and doesn't go past the fat layer. While it's uncommon, there are rare instances where mild bruising, bleeding, or pain can occur. Rest assured that this won't affect your readings. If you do experience bleeding, we recommend applying clean gauze over the area until it stops. And, of course, feel free to contact our customer support team to ensure your sensor is working properly.
