๐ฅ Improved Meal Creation Flow
Meal tracking should be as simple as possible and never feel like it's "in the way" or "too cumbersome". We've been working hard on minimizing the number of steps you need to take to track a meal.
The new meal creation flow allows you to add any meal details (including ingredients) in a single step. All fields are optional, so you can track as much, or as little, as you want.
To track a meal:
-
Tap the green Plus button and tap Meal
-
Fill in any meal details that you would like to track (all fields are optional)
-
Tap Save
๐ฑ Custom Ingredients
Our ingredient database is not perfect just yet so we've added a way to add your own commonly used ingredients.
Our custom ingredients feature allows you to add a new ingredient or tweak an existing ingredient from our database.
To add a custom ingredient:
-
Tap the Drawer in the top left corner
-
Tap Ingredients
-
Tap the Plus button in the top right corner
-
Fill in the name and serving size
-
Fill in the remaining macronutrient data or tap the search icon in the top right corner to find the macro details of an existing item in our database (if you want to make tweaks)
-
Scroll down and tap Save
๐งช Improved Experiment Flow
If you've used the meal search filters before, then the new experiment flow will feel very familiar.
To create an automated experiment:
-
Tap the Drawer button in the top left corner and tap Experiments
-
Tap the Plus button in the top right corner
-
Give your experiment a name and tap Save
-
Tap on the experiment you just created to see
-
Tap the filter button in the top right corner to set parameters specific to the type of experiment you want. For example, you can add a keyword to the search field such as "wine" to only see meals with the word wine included. You can order your results by different parameters such as glucose delta or AUC.
-
Your experiment filters are automatically saved and applied when you tap back
To create a manual experiment:
-
Tap the Drawer button in the top left corner and tap Experiments
-
Tap the Plus button in the top right corner
-
Give your experiment a name, select Custom Meal List and tap Save
-
Add meals to your experiment by tapping the menu button on any meal card and tap Add to Experiment (then select your manual experiment from the list)
To save an existing meal search as an automatic experiment:
-
Tap the filter button in the top right hand corner of the Meals screen
-
Adjust the filters to your liking
-
Tap the plus button in the right hand corner and give your new experiment a name
๐ Improved Glucose Summary Chart
The new glucose statistics summary is a visual interpretation of your daily and weekly glucose stats. It allows you to quickly compare the min/max and mean/std dev of your daily vs weekly glucose data. (This replaces the table form of the same data)
To access the glucose summary chart simply swipe right on the Summary card at the top of the event list.
๐ More In-App Tutorials
We've added more tutorials throughout the app to help you get familiar with new features. Any time you see an โน๏ธ icon, tap it to bring up the tutorial for that specific feature.
