đ App Tutorials
It's not always obvious how to use some of the more advanced features of the Nutrisense app. To help you get started, we've added tutorials to many of the screens and components throughout the app. Wherever you see a âšī¸ icon, tap it to pull up a short tutorial. You can swipe through the tutorial pages and tap Hide Tutorial once you're done!
âī¸ Custom Ingredient Amounts
To give you more flexibility when entering ingredient details, we've added a way to set customer serving amounts, so that you are not limited to the quantity options from our food database.
đ Improved Nutrition Card and Micronutrient Details
The nutrition card has been improved to display the percentage of calories coming from each macronutrient. This allows you to target percentage-based daily macro goals. Your macronutrient goals can be adjusted under User Settings -> Macro Goals.
Tapping on the nutrition card brings up the nutrition details screen like it did before. On this screen, we have added daily values and progress bars for all the macro and micro nutrients, so you can more easily see if you are hitting the daily recommended goals. Micronutrient goals are not yet adjustable, but will be in the future.
đ Improved Date Calendar
To make it easier to jump to days with data, we have added some visual markers to the date calendar. The green dots denote days with glucose data, while the blue dots denote days with logged meals/activities.
đĻ Custom Ingredients (Coming Soon)
We heard your feedback regarding our food database. Our next release will allow you to create fully custom ingredients with custom serving sizes and nutrition information. We'll also be testing our machine learning based đ¤ nutrition label reader which will allow you to snap a photo of a nutrition label and automatically pull the data into a custom ingredient. Hope you're as excited about this as we are!
