🥑 Adding Meal Ingredients
In order to track the macronutrient composition of your meals, you will need to add ingredients to the meals that you track. We have made this as easy as possible by automatically suggesting ingredients based on what is in your meal photos. If your meal does not have a photo, or the suggestions are not accurate, you can always add the ingredient manually by searching our food database.
To add ingredients to a new meal:
-
Tap the green plus button
-
Tap Meal
-
Fill out the meal type and description
-
Tap the field that says No Ingredients, this will take you to the meal details screen
-
Add the meal ingredients by using the Suggestions or Search buttons
To add ingredients to an existing meal
-
Tap the three dots in the top right corner of the meal card
-
Tap Show, this will take you to the meal details screen
-
Add the meal ingredients by using the Suggestions or Search buttons
💪 Macro Summary and Goal Settings
Since we can now track the macronutrient composition of your meals, we are also able to provide you with your nutrition goal progress right on the dashboard. Above your meal cards you will now see a nutrition card detailing the macronutrient totals for the currently selected date and how they relate to your daily goals. Your daily macronutrient goals can be set under User Settings. (You can hide the nutrition card in the dashboard settings)
To set your daily macronutrient goals
-
Tap the Menu button in the top left corner
-
Tap Settings, then User
-
Tap Daily Macro Goals to open the macro goals settings
❤️ Meal Favorites
When you favorite a meal, the ingredients for that meal will be saved along with the meal and will be automatically added to any meal that you create using that saved favorite.
🍫 Custom Ingredients (Coming Soon)
We realize that you will not find every single ingredient in our food database. In a future release of the app, we will add the ability to save custom ingredients along with their nutrition information.
