Experiments
There is finally a way to group and search your logged meals! Experiments allow you compare meals and their affect on your glucose side by side. There are two types of experiments: manual and automatic.
For a more in-depth discussion on experiments, please read our Experiment guide.
Creating a manual experiment:
-
Navigate to the Experiments section in the navigation drawer
-
Tap the Plus button in the top right corner
-
Give the experiment a title and a description and save
-
Add meals to the experiment by tapping the three dots on a meal card and tapping Add to Experiment
Creating an automatic experiment:
-
Navigate to the Experiments section in the navigation drawer

Tap the Plus button in the top right corner

orchocolate+coffee
orblueberries,strawberries,raspberries)
See the experiment guide for more advanced search query examples. -
Optionally select a start and end date for the experiment. (If you leave this empty then the experiment will continue to show meals that match the search as you log them.)
-
Tap save. The experiment will automatically populate with all meals that match your search.
For a more in-depth discussion on experiments, please read our Experiment guide.
Charts Tab
We have moved the Profile tab into the navigation drawer to make room for the new Charts tab! Here you will find aggregate analytics across a longer time horizon, with the option to look at data across a range of up to 120 days. We are starting with 3 basic charts but will be adding more in the future. You can customize chart visibility and order by using the button in the top right corner. Our plan is to allow you to create custom charts for all of your data and measurements in the future!
Mini Calendar (and Primary Calendar Update)
We've added a mini-calendar for a quicker way to switch calendar days and we also changed how date range selection works. In the older version of the app, the calendar required two taps to select either a single date or a date range. We have changed the default behavior to a single tap for date selection and a tap + hold to begin range selection.
To select a single day:
-
Open the mini calendar by swiping down or double tapping the date label (or the large calendar by tapping the calendar button in the right hand corner)
-
Tap on the date you would like to select
To select a date range:
-
Open the mini calendar by swiping down or double tapping the date label in the header (or the large calendar by tapping the calendar button in the right hand corner)
-
Tap and hold on the start date of the range
-
Tap the end date of the range
To quickly go back or forward a day:
-
Swipe left or right on the date label in the header
New Action Menu (Green Button)
You'll notice that the green button menu has changed. This change was primarily to make it easier for new users to get familiar with the app.
Referrals
It's easier than ever to share Nutrisense with your friends. Just tap Get $50 Off in the navigation drawer. You will receive $50 off for every person who signs up with your code.
Share Meal Card
You can now share your meal cards on social media! Just open the meal card and tap the Share option in the 3 dot menu.
Tutorial
To make it easier for new users to get started, they will be greeted with a tutorial video when first logging into the app. The tutorial includes a walkthrough of how to put on the CGM as well as a review of basic app functionality. You can checkout the tutorial by heading to Settings => Show Tutorial.
Bug Fixes
In addition to all the new features, we've also fixed a few bugs that you have been reporting.
-
Glucose spikes showing up when logging a meal
-
Clock showing twice on Android
