Your personal nutritionist is included in the first month of any CGM subscription plan (1, 3, 6, and 12 months) and can be added on as a monthly service after that. They’ll reach out to you following activation of your first sensor (M-F) and are available to answer questions you may have.
What to expect from your Nutrisense nutritionist:
Interpretation and analysis of your data: Our nutritionists are experts in interpreting CGM data and can help explain your glucose and health data in a way you can understand.
How to ask: Ask for help interpreting glucose data that doesn't make sense for you, or reach out for help on identifying ways to optimize your baseline glucose levels.
Help creating experiments in the app: Your nutritionist can help you design personalized experiments to answer questions about your glucose response after a meal or during intermittent fasting, or how to fine-tune your diet to meet your goals.
How to ask: Ask for tips on how to conduct an experiment with your favorite food or how to optimize your glucose response to a particular meal.
Assessments of your logged meals: Your nutritionist can provide tailored feedback to help you optimize your meals and identify missing nutrients.
How to ask: Ask for meal suggestions to improve your glucose response or tips to fine-tune your macro or micronutrient profile.
Improving your athletic performance: Your nutritionist can help you adjust your workout fueling, assess your body's response to exercise, and identify ways to boost your exercise routine to improve overall metabolic health.
How to ask: Log your exercise in the app and ask for suggestions on how to optimize your exercise routine.
Addressing stress and sleep: Your nutritionist can help you understand how stress and sleep may impact your metabolic health and provide personalized recommendations.
How to ask: Log your stress and sleep in the app and ask for tips on stress management or sleep hygiene.
Building habits that stick: Your nutritionist can work with you to incorporate routines and habits that last.
How to ask: Ask your nutritionist to help you create weekly, manageable habits to meet your health goals.
Reviewing basic metabolic labs: Your nutritionist can work with you to review basic glucose-related labs such as a basic metabolic panel, fasting blood glucose, HbA1c, Vitamin D, standard lipid panel etc., and provide nutrition and lifestyle recommendations based on the results. Note: It is not within our nutritionist’s scope of practice to review advanced labs such as DUTCH tests, genetic tests, GI tests and OAT tests etc.
How to ask: If you have any lab work from the past 12 months, send them to your nutritionist and request nutrition-related feedback.
